The collection

Assembled privately and held in Hawai‘i, this is a focused group of Mashiko stoneware — the confident iron brushwork and poured glazes of Hamada Shoji, and the rope-impressed inlay of his pupil Shimaoka Tatsuzo. The works are offered individually, by direct inquiry, to collectors who know what they are looking at.
